Yeah, Everywhere revolutions just famously worked when a bunch of people marched for a couple of weeks. No one got shot or imprisoned for decades, no one was sent to siberia to starve. no massed crowds were fired upon on any famous steps.

Russia had a mass disorganised movement in the Narodniks. They all got shot, but the getting shot was needed for the revolution to happen.
