Is this what betrayal feels like?
You can’t expect her to move the bishop all that way.
Great advice, but I can’t find the m8 square. What should I do next?
The one after that is a classic too! “Is There No Truth In Beauty?”
It’s the 2nd episode guest starring Diana Muldaur (a fan favorite, and Dr. Pulaski in TNG), as Dr. Miranda Jones this time.
Season 3 is where I noticed in my last rewatch that they really dial it up like they were desperate to keep the audience interested. So many love interests, fight scenes, and experimental camera-work. Apparently they also had their budget slashed and one less day to finish each episode.
There are some great episodes in S3, but there are also a few that I wonder what the hell they were thinking, lol.
I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be one of the snake soldiers from Sen’s Fortress.
Far Side is timeless
Could be a plane dragging a banner!
On my very first watch of TNG, I was so annoyed the first couple of times I saw Lwaxana or Q dominate an episode, but by the end of the series I was cheering every time they showed up!
Omg, thanks! I noticed that it had hit a million recently, and I was thinking about writing up a post to commemorate it and maybe share some thoughts about my experience posting like a madman on the fediverse for 6-7 months so far. If I do, it’ll probably be on the c/fediverse community, unless anyone can think of a more fitting one.
I’m also surprised it’s still visible! My instance upgraded to 0.19 recently, which supposedly takes away the upvote count from your profile view. I was secretly hoping to make it to one million before the upgrade happened… Lol
(Edit: also glad to hear you got into TNG!)
Well I know who’s next in line for a little chat.
I found it under a post where people were talking about living in NYC.
God, can you imagine if we had to go to some sort of DMV-like building to wait in person for Comcast customer support?
People would starve.
Lol, sorry to disappoint, but no I don’t.
I also don’t use Linux. (Well, that’s not totally true now, because I’ve been learning to use for a hobby project lately).
Sure do - card carrying member since diagnosed in college back in the 00’s.
Seems like the same thing to me. I think the person saying it’s the first of its kind is wrong, but it would still be equally bizarre if people were addressing their “listeners” in normal conversation.
I continue to be impressed, yet unsurprised, by the trends that happen to take off online.
It was a near immediate campaign to convince people not to believe their lying eyes and ears. I think deep down, the spin doctors know that they’re lying though.
