    So is this some centralised stuff that will get enshittified if if works out or how does it work on a more technical side?

      Static webpages are light to host. It could get enshittified but people could take their website and spend 5mins learning to host it on another place or their own machine.

        Thanks, didn’t know it was static content only.

        Subsidiary question, are people actually having webpages on their own PCs nowadays? I always wondered why there seemed to be so few.

      It will not. It’s actually for community. It is a GeoCities(Dead) replacement a Old Website hoster.

      It’s for simple people. You got the idea wrong. I think you should use codeberg.page or github.io.
