High-level sources told Mediaite that Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son and an omnipresent MAGA evangelist across the internet, is considering a run for president in 2028.

His dad will probably beat him in the primaries even though he’s ineligible.

Man that doesn’t seem like a wise move, is he suicidal? I don’t think people could keep sane and not act out violently.

In the west, it’s often conservatives who elect women first. It gives them an edge with moderates. Thatcher, Kim Campbell (technically nominated), Jenny Shipley, Angela Merkel, Giorgia Meloni, Mireya Moscoso, etc. Marine LePen came close and probably still as a chance one day, while France technically did have a Prime Minister, it never had a President.

I know this is the height of hubris, but I would be absolutely okay with us having to run against this loser. He completely lacks the same “charisma” (or whatever the fuck you want to call what the morons love so much) that his dad has.

    Dude is a fucking Jeb.

My friend, we all thought the country was smart enough not to vote Trump in back in 2016. Then we all thought they couldn’t be stupid or evil enough to do it again in 2024.

      Wake up.

The same people who put Trump in power will crawl out of the woodwork in 2028, vote for his son and call it “continuing the legacy of the Great American Empire” or some unhinged shit. That is if his daddy hasn’t abolished term limits by that point.

Ugh. I was so happy Trump won the primary in 2016. I wanted Bernie but let’s not get into that, it’s time to stop the Republicans again. I thought out of everyone, Trump would be easiest to beat. He’s an objectively stupid pathological liar. He’s a rapist, conman, billionaire from NYC. Real Americans™️ hate that stuff.

I was so wrong. So I don’t underestimate Jr at all.

His point is valid though, Trump Jr has no rizz. Trump is objectively more talented as an entertainer than his failsons.

Whatever his charisma might be, if he runs in 2028, that’s good at least in that it would require his father not have managed to remove elections and term limits by then for it to occur

Not necessarily, it could be like Russia electing Putin into office. In 2008 he traded roles and became prime minister due to the consecutive term limits they had there, then he went back to the presidency and abolished that whole restriction so he could remain president for the rest of his life. Russia still has elections, but opposition candidates get disappeared. It’s more of democracy theater than actual democracy.
