I can’t close the AC vent in my bedroom because the little handle has been snapped off and entirely painted over so I can’t even use a tool to move the fucking thing, which sucks because it’s getting closer to summer and someone keeps turning the fucking heater on. 😬
Imma need a fucking super powerful electromagnet to make this thing ever move again. And at that point, it might just rip the whole thing out of the vent. 🤣

I think they meant to block the vent using a magnetic sheet.

Sometimes, you can get a screwdriver or something similar to move the vent slats more open or closed depending on how it’s made.
I love it when you can’t open the windows because they’ve been painted over.
