It worked in a way. It’ll take another week or 2 to break out of the habit of waking up, but I fell immediately back to sleep when I did wake up.

    Success.

    13 months. Unreal.

Today has been awful. Which is pretty rare for me to say honestly.

I want to go back to bed and not wake up until tomorrow.

Also we have some newbies to the crew above.

Could you be coming down with a plain old fashioned cold? That can really stuff up all the other things, particularly if you haven’t had one for a while.

I’ve made some progress on sorting my sewing room. Unfortunately the shelves I was hoping to use inside the cupboard won’t work - the shelves are the right size, but once assembled I won’t have room to manoeuvre them in. I have a couple more shelves to assemble and can then start putting more things away.

I’m behind where I would like to be, but I think I can get all the boxes cleared from the lounge room and tidy up the worst of the empty box collection before the rental inspection tomorrow. It is nice having the lounge room more clear and open again, but I need to move all the furniture now that I’m not having to accomodate a wall of boxes.

Not the kind of cupboard you can take the doors off of?

No, it’s a built in and the framing for the doors reduces the size of the opening slightly. Plus they have gone for the cheapest possible wardrobe insert, which is a single shelf with hanging rail below it, and it has a divider panel in the middle to provide support to the shelf which also reduces the options for what you can put in there.

The other day I went through bags of baby clothes. They were in vac sealed bags and out of the way but thought it was time to get rid of them. I kept a couple of things and some crochet blankets my sister made.

Now I find out how many bags I can fit in my car and how many attempts to reverse my car out of the yard without hitting the gate.

Regardless of whether you broke it or not, just immobilising it by taping it to the toe next to it would help. If it is broken, moving it around will impede its healing.

Drs won’t do too much for a broken toe unless it’s the big toe. 99% sure I broke mine stubbing it against the camphor chest I have, but I just taped it to the toe next to it for a few weeks/months, and it healed okay (there’s still a bump either side but it works lol).

This is just my anecdotal experience.

Ah ok. Just dealing also with a lifted toenail issue. Only a minor and small one apparently so I’ve had to put dressing on.

Think part of the dressing is too fat as well because of the padding and too long.

I really hope it’s not broke or fractured.

I guess if you can bend the toe it’s probably not broken. Could still be fractured though.

Most likely it’s just a bad bump that needs more time to heal.

I can still bend it. I have the other problem of it healing from lightly lifted toe nail.

Only minor but there was a little bit of a tear.

Keep an eye on it for any infection - that can be a problem in fingers and toes, and you need to get onto it quickly

I changed my dressing yesterday, it looked ok, no signs of redness, just swollen from what I could see.

My neighbour’s dog is howling its little brains out and I can’t understand why they’re letting this noise continue. I’ve never heard it do this before. Either way, it’s bloody annoying when I’m trying to work. Headphones on!

Did something happen to the neighbour? Or are they just out?
