Man I loved MTC. I remember when it got “modcouped” by MLMs who started banning anyone with anything nice to say about China and Cuba for being campists or something so someone made MMTC as a refuge for the MLs on the sub, and then MTC got banned for, idk, CTH ban evasion? No was it because they wanted a leftist sub to ban to be “balanced” because they had to ban some hate sub or something? Anyways, then they fucking banned MMTC for being a MTC ban evasion sub even though it predated the MTC ban by I wanna say weeks, and was created due to an internal schism totally unrelated to reddit admin actions.
Chapotraphouse3 got banned for Chapotraphouse ban evasion despite predating the ban by like a year and half. Reddit admin does what it wants without rhyme or reason.
to be fair at that point it’s probably algorithmic to just search for “r/[inserbannedsub][number]” and ban it

sometimes I bring this up, but a lot of stuff we talk about here comes from leftist twitter and youtube etc, rather than stuff we stumbled upon or embraced ourselves. Like the sicko face was popular on leftist Facebook and twitter before this site existed. Yellow Parenti shows up a lot in online leftist spaces too.
