We should have a “McCarthyism” space where we ask each other stupid questions in this format. Make the original Communist Party question look like a very uncreative bit.
I stiil cannot believe, this long after the Cold War, someone actually asked the Communist Party question seriously in a government proceeding. And the guy was expected by the rest of the room to answer it.
I mean, it happened in the US, so I’m not that shocked, just surprised at the lack of reaction to the blatant McCarthyism.
