I sorta asked what he meant and he looked at me like I was dumb and said “you know, the Ls, the Ds, the Gs”. I’m guessing he meant LGBTQ people, but idfk. The guy gives me bad reactionary vibes, so it wouldn’t surprise me.
I look it up afterwards and most places talking about it online are accurately pointing out the company just sucks and management is awful, but I feel like that’s been common knowledge for like a decade at this point.

Yeah “gamers” as in people who play videogames hasn’t existed as a demographic for half a decade at least. The “gamer” demo is just Fascists who have totally absorbed all critique of videogames into their psychosexual conspiracy ideology, because to actually agitiate for better videogames (stable working conditions, longer dev cycles, banning gambling mechanics) actually erodes the industry’s role as a lynchpin of capitalist hyperconsumption
