Super Earth wanted to make them into WMD and the Illuminate were like “uh no thank you”

Yeah according to the lore the Cyborgs are transhumanist socialists that have tried to establish space communism without apparently defeating the fascists once and for all on earth first I guess. Seems like a critical oversight.

Can’t believe I’m finally going to play a live service game just to establish Luxury Gay Space Communism.
I’m tempted but I know this won’t amount to anything with the game’s trajectory.
Would be sick as hell for a “Heresy” or civil war to be added. Even if the devs have zero intention of adding PVP, it wouldn’t be too hard to add human NPC mooks. But I guess that defeats the point.
Maybe I should play this game again. It wasn’t the most interesting visually which is what determines what games I play nowadays (we only have one TV so me hogging it playing games means my partner is watching too lol). But it sounds so cool.
Its very fun, and if you’ve got a decent PC, some of the lighting can look very cool! Consoles can barely handle the game’s spaghetti code to run it at a solid 30fps, and that’s with toned down graphics.
If those Helldivers could read they’d be very upset
