A big cliffhanger this week! I guess the power difference between Luffy and Joyboy was hinted at with Joyboy’s haki knot on Egghead, but still didn’t expect Luffy to take a BTFO hit like that.
I like how Oda demonstrated the difference between Imu and Luffy’s skill with their abilities, Imu was able to stay in control for the entire fight while Luffy was retreating and trying to find an opening that never came. Luffy still has a long way to go with gear 5 and I’m glad it’s not a insta-win button.
