I’m glad I have cotton sheets. If my sheets were constantly emitting a high D# I’d never get to sleep.

Celestion Vintage 30 16 ohm speakers- Making icepick noises at 5kHz
Finally someone gets it 🤘
You will pry my UK-spec 8 ohm V30s from my cold, dead hands, and probably
yourself in the process while trying to get that damn cabinet back down the stairs.
Gonna be the pretentious contrarian here.
If it’s about common celestion speakers, T-75s are the standard in the marshall 1960 series for a reason.
Thesis: Vintage 30
Antithesis: G12T-75
Synthesis: Two V30s and two G12T-75s in an X pattern

any of you ever seen those guys on tiktok who do “waveform lifting” where they are on either end of a pole and just like rapidly press it over their heads but not in sync, claiming that they’re generating like thousands of psi of force or some shit?
or that guy who has like a tech deck board with no wheels and some slime, but says he’s perfecting a “10th dimensional hoverboard lattice structure” and just like rams the board into some container and verbally says like “ah yes, exquisite”?yeah
psi of force

i searched “waveform lifting” and found this video of two bozos barking out their gains or whatever the fuck this is. bonus points for the snek flag and the thin blue line flags.

the comments are p funny, but wtf is even going on.
This has to be a bit, right? The flags are so on the nose
I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
Copper does work but not quickly. You can’t pour something with bacteria into a copper cup and then drink it and expect it to magically kill the bacteria in the cup immediately.
Copper is better elsewhere. Copper door handles are good. Copper pipes are good. Copper handrails and bed side-guards.
Better option altogether is not to have door handles as part of hospital design at all. Washable curtains are perfectly good dividers. Anywhere that does need a door should be pushable in both directions with foot.
I worked in an IPC designed environment for a stint and the designers spent a considerable amount of time selecting the kickplates on the doors (basically the big metal plate on the door from knee level to floor) that allows you to push it open with your foot (also protects regular doors from cosmetic or structural kick damage). Didn’t even know it was a thing but now I notice them everywhere.
I honestly think kick plates should be more visually obvious. I’ve had this idea in the back of my head for years about putting Thatcher’s face on kickplates so you’d get more people to use it consciously instead of ignoring them. Would work brilliantly in most of the UK and it would subconsciously embed our politics in people.
I think it’s learned for some occupations, i.e. you have your hands full, you need to push through a door because your arms are full or you’re pulling a trolley, you turn around and push with your back or leading shoulder, and then prop it with your feet, and then situational for everyone else (like kick plates on one-side of toilet doors that people will use to avoid touching the handles. I use feet preferentially on open doors rather than pushing, even sliding doors.
The kicking maggie t appeals to me
marx didn’t consider hertz of linen
Video Game Hertz of Linen 4
Some quick googling suggests this is either a gross and inaccurate misrepresentation of resonant frequencies, or hertz is being used as a veil for some “alternative science” pseudo-metric.
“Vibrational frequencies” (as used in this context) is a woo thing for sure. I think the root of the idea comes from the scientific concepts of particle-wave duality and
E = mc^2, but macroscopic matter actually has a “frequency” of trillions of trillions of hertz, not thousands. If you want a really great tangentially related rabbit hole to explore look up a dude named John Murray Spear and his mechanical messiah experiments.
QAA did a two part episode on it but it’s patreon exclusive. I would be happy to share if you know an easy way to transfer files of that size.
John Murray Spear (September 16, 1804 – October 5, 1887[1]) was an American spiritualist minister
Many prominent spiritualists were women, and like most spiritualists, supported causes such as the abolition of slavery and women’s suffrage. [Wikipedia]
Hey these people don’t sound too bad, all considered
Yeah but Spears also made it a weird sex cult thing.
I mean, wasn’t everything a sex culd back in the day? The fork people were a sex cult too.
Copper and silver do very much have antimicrobial properties, multiple plants are medicinal and the synergy of the whole plant makes them work better. Contraindications should always be checked and carefully noted. Linen is from a plant. And yes, warm water is better at getting the chemical fake food moving through the gut.
And Vitamin D is indeed good for your immune system. Yeah, I’m not saying it’s all BS. It’s this frequency thing that perplexes me (the “electrically charged water” is a close second).
Linen is from a plant.
So?
Idk if it has medicinal qualities, but flaxseed is good for you. I’m not dissing on you. I’m saying there’s mother wit, and even dimwits can have it.
It’s good for you when you eat it
Lol, yes! Linen is better than plastic fabrics for wearing in hot weather, too. In general, natural fiber is better for wearing than plastic fibers.
I wear natural fibers because I don’t like the idea of my dryer spewing microplastics. I’ve replaced most of my polyester.
Absolutely , and natural fibers breathe a little and my skin being highly porous and my biggest organ, I feel better physically and mentally.
Bamboo socks and underwear

i have known this one guy since high school. we used to smoke weed and later do shrooms together. we live on opposite sides of the country now and went pretty different directions in life, though we both worked outdoor physical labor jobs like landscaping for a while. we still occasionally play video games together, low stakes kinda social games.
anyway, he’s really into crystals and like trying to astral oroject to talk to aliens, and has some real woo ideas about health. he doesn’t have health insurance and i can appreciate the process of how “traditional” folk ideas are a way for people shut out of conventional healthcare to have some agency and try to heal themselves.
but i loathe fear-mongering charlatans for making alarmist claims for attention at such a vulnerable time, and wish we could have some trust-worthy public institutions disseminating useful information and care unspoiled by the “entrepenurial” mind.
Ceramic has the brown note frequency, that’s why I can’t take a shit in metallic toilets.
