This started years ago but it is one of my most memorable wins.

I have a sweet tooth and always had a hard time limiting desserts. I used to have 500g of sugar a day sometimes.

I am in complete abstinence now. I eat nothing sweet except seasonal fruits in limited quantities. It changed my relationship with food. I effortlessly control when I eat and how much. I don’t fantasize about food anymore.

I went out recently to my favorite dessert place with a friend. For the first time ever I had one serving, enjoyed it thoroughly and stopped.

It’s all about reshaping your gut microbiome and the brain. Eventually you’ll stop craving it.

I do feel nauseous when eating sugar too after weaning myself off it years ago, but I don’t mind it. It’s easier to just not eat sweets at all. That means I don’t have to think too much about counting calories either.
