A down payment for a two bedroom apartment in Brooklyn is going to be like $100-200k. It’s fine, I tell myself. I can walk to everything I need and take transit to everything else.

Yes, I would be responsible for maintenance but I’ve owned before and it is still less expensive than renting even with maintenance.
