It’s nice plant!
An old highschool friend of mine who’s a botanist of some flavor said it’s a type of “persicaria”.
If it helps, this thing:
A.) Is quite thirsty.
B.) Selected “toughness” for its tier 2 perk. This thing has wilted quite a few times, got chewed on by the cat, cheated the garbage truck, probably more stuff I don’t know about.

Yeah this fucker is one of the invasives at my wetland project.
Yeah I was hoping it was a native plant.
